FromSoftware has finally completed Miquella's story in Shadow of the Erdtree. How much do you know about Miquella's story?

In the immense and intricate world of Elden Ring, Miquella occupies a very mysterious and essential place that captivates players' minds for much of its complex history.

In a Near-Empyrean world, Miquella is a demigod of sheer and ageless grace, mighty above all but for its divine siblings by birth-craft, antediluvian potential.

Miquella's Past in Elden Ring

Understanding how Miquella is essential to Elden Ring's upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, requires a deep understanding for some brief recap, detailing all that has defined his character - or at least what we knew prior.

As it says in the previous prologue, Miquella was not your ordinary demigod. An Empyrean by birth, it was his destiny to ascend; a spiritual quality and elegance set him apart from the rest.

But along that ascension journey, there was considerable turbulence and strife—a backstory integral to grasping his reasons behind everything he did now in the expansion.

One of the biggest and most notable events in the Lands Between is The Shattering, which Miquella experiences. When demigods grappled for the control of Elden Ring, it shattered into fragments and spread across a land that was once unbroken but no longer.

The Shattering not only shattered the political and divine order but also a time of chaos that sparked great wars between demigods.

His family was neck-deep in the conflicts, especially his mother, Queen Marika The Eternal, and his twin sister, Malenia Blade of Miquella. But Lin was a peerless warrior, and her fight to the top became so deeply infolded with one of those who would succeed Miquella that it, like Melania herself, shared in their tale.

Their destinies intertwine as siblings, and Miquella's ambition to heal his sister from the scarlet rot also showcases his considerable ability and proficiency in alchemy and healing.

Additionally, Mohg, Lord of Blood, stole Miquella from his life and seized him, wanting to use the divine spark within him for himself, which would allow its possessor an enduring form of eternal unlife.

The most powerful mob boss in the entire empire, Mohg is quite possibly one of Miquella's biggest admirers, not just because he sees her as a potential vessel for an Empyrean but due to his belief that she possesses all of the things their race lusts after from a genetic standpoint: latent power plus eternal youth.

The Hidden Truth in Elden Ring

The above content is more constrained than we can see. Yet, parsing through a menagerie of dashes across the descriptions for boss equipment would shed light onto one tinfoil-riddled revelation: Miquella is Eve/ Lilith has fucked us over and driven all higher beings from Elden Ring.

Radahn, Mohg, and Malenia are three important characters that I need to mention here. Radahn to Miquella: Before Marika broke the Golden Order if you ever become a god—a king is what I'll be for thee.

Maybe it was a promise to please his little brother, but that only marked the beginning of his problems. A king like the compassionate and powerful Radahn would suit her brother perfectly, in Miquella's opinion.

Miquella later becomes a god, the Haligtree. Mohg finds himself a deity ex machina, but he could be more capable in combat; his abilities barely exist beyond the Great Rune, allowing him to charm others. In this battle, Mohg and his forces severely hurt Miquella as well as Trina (a more excellent part of her)

But alas, Miquella also bewitched Mohg Wine-Worm before trapping her in a cocoon at the Dynasty Mausoleum. This is how he appears to us within this game (as stated previously via DLC).

When the realization that his primary plan to ascend as a god was unfeasible dawned on him, Miquella sought refuge with Shadow of the Erdtree. But a god needs its king, so he commanded Malenia to slay Radahn and send him to the Shadow of the Erdtree. But Radahn, true to his loyal companions, could never leave them to be slain and ferried across the Void.

As a result, Malenia and Radahn went to war. Malenia succumbed to the Scarlet Rot so that she could continue her brother Miquella's work and bring about an outbreak of infection and death. Tales from The Crucible: Arioque Once Betrayed Malaini Hey'o Lord Commander Covalcin Aranza hoped for a perfect fight with Radhan as he was confident that attempting is day fate.

She could not kill Radahn but returned to the Haligtree, gravely harmed, to await his return and to greet her brother, who would still come as a god.

The Climax of Miquella's Story

This was also when any of the players killed Radahn during Ranni's mission to free him, which ultimately helped Miquella since she had no way to kill Radahn otherwise.

His vessel was liberated, but Miquella shackled and subverted his essence back at the God-Wolf. Thus far, every boss in Elden Ring has spoken in CG cutscenes, save for those without consciousness, such as the Elden Beast and Radagon.

Radahn, Consort of Miquella, does not even talk in the DLC; his partner speaks for him, implying that Radhan himself is unconscious or has no mind , clearly just instinctual combat.

Miquella required the body to revive her king of choice. Mohg, recently deceased, was perfect. Then, Miquella ordered her followers to steal what was left of Mohg.

Shadow of the Erdtree depicted Miquella using Mohg's body in a forbidden ritual to remove his physical, heart, and confusion after leaving his love alone, to combine Radahn's spirit with her henchman Moth into becoming Radahn-Consulter under servitude.

Most players before Shadow of the Erdtree dropped likely were thrilled about that mystery, maybe even a little moved by his life-long work to cure his sister Malenia's Scarlet Rot.

However, after reviewing the data, it is apparent that Miquella's decisions have a considerable impact and involve great sacrifice. A small, single ambition of Miquella had wiped Caelid from the face of the earth.

Had Miquella not been there to end Radahn, Caelid would likely be in a different place. So, I find Michelle to be someone who has gone insane and is obsessed with love or godhood. Those steps are way too drastic to be taken. What is your opinion on this particular story?
